Crazy Week!!!

Well I'm getting ready to back to school. While I am super excited I am not at all enjoying the far at least. This whole week I have been at a reading training from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. I'll be honest and tell you that I haven't even learned enough to fill one whole day of training. It has just been a lot of busy work. On top of this training this week is the last week of my summer semester for my credential program which means I'm needing to do A LOT of work. Only one more semester
to go!!!

Southern California Harvest 08 with Greg Laurie

On a good note, the Harvest Crusades are this weekend and Dirk and I will be working there together. The Crusades are always an awesome time to see the Lord move mightily and I am certain that this year will be no different. With Dirk working in the graphic design department this is a really exciting time of year. It is a time that we really get to see the fruits of all of the Harvest employee's labor. Not that they themselves have brought the people to the Lord, but every person on staff works to help make Harvest run and this is the time that they get to be reminded that they are really working for the Lord and not for man. This is also a time that the design department really unites and it is awesome to be reminded that some of the very things that they designed could have helped bring someone to the Lord, what an awesome privilege!

I strongly believe that God has something great in store for this weekend. Please do not forget to pray for every person involved in the Crusades, especially Pastor Greg. The Crusades are always a trying time for him and this year will, of course, be more trying than ever. We need to pray that the Holy Spirit will fill him and that Satan will be kept at bay. "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places." Ephesians 6:12

As you all know from a previous post, Chris Laurie went to be with the Lord just a few weeks ago. While the Crusades are always the perfect time to bring an unsaved friend or family member, I believe that this year it is even more pertinent. Chris had such a strong passion for the Crusades and I can't think of a better way to honor him, and more importantly to please the Lord, than to bring someone that doesn't know Him. It has been said many times since Chris went to be with the Lord that this Crusade may be one of the greatest Crusades yet. While we can of course pray for that to be true, let us also take action and bring someone with us.

"Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature." Mark 16:15

  1. Umm Mrs. Dallas. . . it's time for an update. Ok? Thank you.

  2. Hi. That was a crazy week… a week ago, new post time! Heh. See you at the Coconut Mall (that is my new favorite joke, so nerdy.).
