Coming to a Theater Near You...

The Escape of Baxter Dallas

January 5th began as any other day. As usual the nice couple left for their jobs and as usual the husband returned home for his lunch break where he played with Baxter, the dog. What happened after the husband left is everything but usual. The dog, in his lonely state, yelped and cried but no one heard him. What was a dog to do?

Why what any dog would do of course. ESCAPE!

  1. That is so funny!!! He's a smart one. I wonder if your neighbors hear him bark. I was surprised at his bark. I guess I thought it would be deeper or something. I wanted to keep watching to see what he did after while he had the house to himself. Funny stuff Baxter!!!!

  3. Well we recorded a whole hour and a half of his little escape and it was really interesting. First he went all the way in the back and around the corner which is where our garage door is and waited there for several minutes so we couldnt see him. I imagine he was just there waiting for us come back. Then he went upstairs, came back, then to the dining room, then on the couch, then played with his toys, then back to the garage door area and it all repeats for about 15 minutes until he is finally done and just hops up on the couch to sleep. Occasionally it looks like he heard a noise and would look up but then he would just go back to sleep. Maybe if we have time we can upload the whole thing but speed it up real fast.

  4. Our dogs would have gotten out and peed on something right away, just to teach us a lesson.

  7. We had that exact cage for Chloee, and she would scale the side of the cage and slip though the top opening.

  8. Wow! he's smart. I wouldn't be surprised if he cleaned everything up and sneaks back in his cage before you guys get home.
