I LOVE this green table from West Elm, trying to figure why I need it but can't find a good reason :-/

And last but not least, a Petunia Pickle Bottom diaper bag. I am SO not the type of person who needs or even really likes designer items BUT there is nothing that compares to a Petunia Pickle Bottom diaper bag. You just can't find designs as exquisite as these diaper bags. Someday when we have a baby, I REALLY want one of these. This one isn't my favorite by any means but it had to be green to fit with the theme :)

I remember one day, back when I was like 8 years old, I came down to the kitchen to get breakfast one morning before school. When I went to get the milk for my cereal and some juice to drink, it was GREEN! I immediately thought they were both old and moldy and wanted to barf. Right after that my mom came in with a big smile and shouted "Happy St. Patty's Day!"
ReplyDeleteShe then spent several minutes trying to convince me that it was her just trying to have fun with me by dying the milk and juice green. I didn't believe her, I really thought it was old and sour. Since then St. Patty's Day has never been the same for my mom (sry mom). Needless to say she never dyed anything green in our house ever again.
The cool thing about the bags, is now they come in glazed. I would always look at them and think it was so stupid to have that material on a diaper bag. They are so cute though!
ReplyDeleteWow, thats cool that your mom put in the effort to dye your food green. I think that would've been really fun as a kid...and I probably would enjoy it as an adult too :).
ReplyDeleteThat's cool that Dirk's mom tried it too, but too bad it just freaked him out!
I didn't know what the heck st. patty's day was about either and I looked it up today and found out that its about a Christian guy who went on a mission for like 30 yrs! So that was pretty cool. I'm totally into green right now too...its really growing on me. I have been wanting to paint my bathroom 4ever and I couldn't take it no mo and just decided to run to Home Depot and pick a either a yellowish or green color. The color I picked....green moss. I think it looks awesome! Really brings a cool change to my bathroom. Anyhoot....green is cool.
