Thinkin' About Thinkin'

I read this today in Oswald Chambers' "My Utmost for His Highest"

"It takes Almighty grace to take the next step when there is no vision and no spectator - the next step in devotion, the next step in your study, in your reading, in your kitchen; the next step in your duty, when there is no vision from God, no enthusiasm, no spectator."

I am currently staying in Palm Springs for the CUE (Computer Using Educators) conference. I've learned a lot and have a lot of ideas and questions whirling through my head. One of those questions is, "How am I going to implement all of this if I don't have a classroom next year?" I felt like Oswald Chambers really summed it up there. I don't have a vision or even a slight idea of what the next few months hold. Will I have my job? And if so, at what school site will I be at? I have to just take the next steps in my life with God's grace, knowing that he knew this was going to happen before I was even born. He has a plan and I just need to keep doing what I'm supposed to be doing and take the next step in studying his Word and really seeking Him. I just thought I'd share because I know that a lot of people are facing trials of all kinds right now and I hope that anything I glean can be useful to those of you who are also facing trials. There are several really big trials that Dirk and I are going through right now and so I'm sure that you will see more little blurbs as I reflect on what I'm gleaning and share with you all as well.

I also wanted to let you know that I am in the process of revamping my blog. Dirk and I are coming up with a new header and I'm going to be eventually changing sites. One thing I would like to know is what you all think of the content of my blog. With the title, "I do...now what" I am really not focusing on any one thing. This blog is about my life after marriage. The struggles Iface and the joys I experience. As well as handy tips that I discover in my journey as a wife and an "adult". I put some polls on the side of my blog that I would love to have you guys respond to. Just to sort of get your opinion of the blog and how I could improve it. I appreciate your feedback. :)

  1. I personally really like the title of your blog. Maybe you could add a small description about what your blog is about.
