Grounds for your Garden

Starbucks has a page on composting coffee grounds for your garden. Last night at our married couples Bible study a lady mentioned that she composts. I have already been throwing the idea around but after talking to her I'm really considering it.

There are so many different ways to compost that I have to research a lot before we begin. Here are a few composters I've found that look appealing.

Costco

The Bio Orb

The Worm Chalet

  1. I've never tried composting either so I'll be interested reading what you find out. I'm not sure about having one indoors though unless you had a place to store it out of sight.....

  2. I've been thinking about composting too. Although I am terrified of earth worms so I'm not sure I'd be able to handle that type of composting. Coffee grounds are great to sprinkle around flowers like Gardenias because they like the acidic soil.

  3. for composting, do you use only coffee or veggies? is it just like fertilizer?
