Oh Life

So my hubby started this online journaling thing called OhLife. When he told me about it I wasn't interested in trying it. I'm an old fashion journal-er.  I like to buy a pretty journal, get some fun pens and enjoy my time in front of my journal writing about whatever I want, whenever I want without being judged by anyone, except maybe my future self who will read it and laugh at the ridiculousness of the entry. Anyway, I used to journal like almost every day, that was until I got married and was in graduate school and working and then working and doing BTSA and being pregnant and then having a baby and now a toddler and...well you get the picture.

So I decided to try out OhLife and it only lasted a few days. I just don't feel connected to my computer screen like I do to my pen and paper. But then I got a genius idea, or so I tell myself it was. I decided to use OhLife to write letters or short notes to Makenzie. The beauty of OhLife is that it sends you an e-mail every evening reminding you of something you wrote awhile back, or yesterday and all you have to do is reply to the e-mail and it will post it in the OhLife journal for you. Also, you can attach pictures with your entry if you'd like. The awesome thing is that you can write as little or as much as you want. There's no pressure to fill out these amazing pages or write a bunch of info. You just write short simple and sweet things to remember the day. I don't write every day but I try to write frequently.

Here's an example of what today's post looks like on the actual site:

If you, like me, struggle to keep track of those things you want to remember, or if you find yourself thinking, "Man, I want to remember this moment forever." Then you should definitely check it out. I check my e-mail every evening so all I have to do is open the OhLife e-mail, hit respond type a few lines and I have forever saved that special memory.

If you're interested in signing up, head over to the OhLife site, do it now, you will be happy you did!
